I established Happy Teeth Springwood with a simple but powerful goal: to create a dental practice where clinical excellence goes hand in hand with genuine care - a place where patients and team members alike feel respected, valued, and completely at ease.

Committed to serving my local community, I believe everyone deserves the kind of dentistry I'd want for my own family: gentle, honest, and personalised. I understand no two patients are the same, so I take the time to listen, explain, and tailor treatments to suit each person's individual needs and goals.

Before establishing Happy Teeth Springwood, I dedicated myself to developing an award-winning practice in Mt Warren Park. Over the years, I built lasting relationships with many wonderful patients - some I first met as children, and later had the joy of caring for their 'own' families. Those connections remain one of the greatest rewards of my career, and I'm excited to welcome familiar faces and new ones alike to Happy Teeth Springwood.

My work has also given me the opportunity to support causes close to my heart, particularly animal welfare, where I've actively contributed through fundraising, volunteering in rescue and foster care, and by serving on animal ethics committees. Giving back in this way reflects a belief I hold deeply: that every act of kindness has the power to shape a better tomorrow.

I graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2003 and have since had the opportunity to build a broad range of experience across both private practice and service with the New Zealand Army. Early in my career, I was fortunate to work alongside a number of dental specialists, which helped me refine my clinical skills and deepen my interest in more complex areas of dentistry.

Over time, I developed a particular passion for challenging tooth extractions, where careful planning and a calm, methodical approach can make a real difference to patient comfort and outcomes.

I’ve now made Queensland home with my family, and I really enjoy the lifestyle that comes with it. The sunshine and outdoors are a big part of my life outside of dentistry. I spend much of my free time running, cycling, and riding my motorbike, often exploring new tracks and the varied terrain across the Sunshine State.

One of the things I enjoy most about dentistry is building long-term relationships with my patients and helping them feel genuinely comfortable in the dental chair. Whether it's helping someone overcome dental anxiety, improving their smile, or maintaining their oral health for years to come, I love being part of that journey.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science from The University of Queensland in 2003, I discovered a profession that perfectly combines my interests in science, biology and art with the opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives. I particularly enjoy the variety that dentistry offers and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with my patients while helping them achieve and maintain healthy smiles.

I have a particular interest in orthodontics and enjoy helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles. Being committed to ongoing education, I regularly attend advanced training courses to stay up to date with the latest techniques and technologies, ensuring my patients receive the highest standard of care.

My pathway into dentistry led me to graduate from the University of Queensland in 2015. With more than 10 years of experience, I have developed a keen passion for dentistry and built extensive experience across a comprehensive range of general dentistry, with a particular interest in implant treatment and full-case rehabilitation

I am particularly drawn to the precision and problem-solving aspects of dentistry, and enjoy the technical and surgical elements involved in achieving predictable, long-term outcomes for my patients. I place a strong emphasis on clear communication and tailored treatment planning, ensuring my patients feel confident and well-supported throughout their care.

I am committed to continual professional development and regularly undertake advanced training in implant dentistry to optimise my clinical outcomes. I also have a genuine enthusiasm for educating other dentists and enjoy contributing to the profession through teaching and mentoring.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy photography, travelling and staying active.
